ADVENTURE CONTINUES...
Changing a famous movie parallelism, we could define this trip as the completion of the trilogy, the conclusion of a long parentheses in South America, that through three trips, we have been allowed to taste the thousand facets of this unbelievable continent.

In Peru after leaving Lima we will climb the dorsal Andean to meet the trail that, through Huancayo and Ayacucho, will bring us to Cuzco. From here we will go down toward Puerto Maldonado, 500 kilometers of trails, then up again toward the Lake Titicaca to reach La Paz, in Bolivia, and along the way we will stop to the Inca site of Tiahuanaco..

In Bolivia, we will aim south toward the city of Oruro and that colonial Potosì. From here on before speaking of adventure it will be mandatory to cross the Condor Pass, after which we will go down toward Uyunj, we will cross the homonym Salar, the greatest of the world with her 10000 square meters, then the Green and Colored Lagoon, a wild
fascinating run, since the greater difficulty will be the provisioning of gasoline that will force us to use additional tanks.

Heading up west we will cross the frontier of Chile.

In Chile we will stop at St. Pedro of Atacama, visiting the rich surrounding places of Gaiser and completing the tour with the Valley of the Moon a place known for its landscape resembling our satellite. After leaving St. Pedro of Atacama we will reach the frontier of Argentina. In Argentina, remaining always on the Andean Cordillera we will go south, meeting the Lagoons and the characteristic Salars of this country up to reach Belem. Once more we will have to face the problem of gasoline; in fact, 600 kilometers separate us from the point of departure to that of arrival. Leaving the Andes, we will aim toward Cordoba and from there Buenos Aires. The sight of the Atlantic Ocean will be the conclusive act of the Latin American tour.

The numbers of the trip

Four countries, 6500 kilometers of which 4500 are roadless trails, we will travel up to around 5000 meters of altitude with 35 days the allotted time. Therefore, it is minimizing our effort to speak of the spirit of adaptation, both for the climatic conditions and for the total lack of means of support. We should count only on ourselves making good of the experience accumulated in so many trips.
